The Nokia India Twitter account revealed and tweeted to answer a customer question, that a firmware update for the Nokia N8 will be available sometime in January. No further details were shared, so we’re not sure whether this update which improve on more than 50 issues with Symbian^3, that will bring a new browser, portrait QWERTY keyboard or other UI enhancements.
We’ll see what the future brings, how really true this rumor about. If this is true, January falls in the first quarter and we are about 2 week away. I’m sure all the existing Nokia N8 users are excited. As for now Nokia is exploring all option for non Symbian handset.
