Remember the Yike Bike? It caught our attention when we first saw over a year ago. It’s the miniature electric penny-farthing (or mini-farthing, as the Yike folks like to say) that you perch on top of as you cruise the streets, dodging traffic-jams and enduring ridicule from pedestrians. You probably won’t have any trouble riding the YikeBike around city streets since it mostly looks like you’re just riding a bicycle, if you live and work in an urban area. And since it folds down, you’ll never have to worry about finding parking.
Yike Bike is Made of carbon-fiber electric bike that still manage to weigh 22lbs capable of going up to 6.2 miles on a single charge, and tops out around 14mph. The front wheel measures 20-inches; the rear is 8-inches. The price is $3,595, far from cheap but about $2,000 less than they were originally estimated price tag of $5,500 make seem slightly more affordable when it actually went on sale and a downright bargain for something that offers this unique blend of bizarreness and fun.
